My name is Subi Lee, and I am currently studying Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. I believe counseling is a chance to face one's inner self and channel this self-reflection into building a healthy lifestyle. So, I am committed to fostering a safe and collaborative space where clients experience validation and empowerment in their personal growth. I am drawn to Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-based practices, as the core of my work is to tailor each session to the individual’s unique needs while honoring their lived experiences and cultural background.

My professional experience as a yoga instructor enhanced my awareness of the mind-body relationship and my ability to promote emotional resilience through a somatic approach. I hold a bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from Korea. My academic background allowed me to absorb different cultures outside of Asia, and through this, I developed an integrative and comprehensive perspective. With a strong commitment to cultural humility in care, I am passionate about working with individuals from marginalized communities, particularly communities of color. I can offer service in English, Korean, and French.

As an individual, I enjoy traveling, yoga, meditation, squash, running, reading, listening to spooky podcasts, and exploring new cafes and restaurants. These activities help me wind down and recharge my battery.
