Essence Blake

Practice Manager | MA, MHC-LP

As the Practice Manager of Wellington Psychotherapy, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for both clients and clinicians. My role involves coordinating efforts to uphold the practice’s mission of providing compassionate, inclusive, and high-quality mental health services.

With a deep appreciation for the transformative power of therapy, I am committed to fostering a compassionate environment where both clients and clinicians feel supported and empowered. I bring a unique perspective to my role, connecting clinical care with operational excellence to ensure the practice reflects its core values of integrity, empathy, and connection. In addition to managing the practice, I am passionate about directly supporting individuals in their mental health journey as a therapist.

As a first-generation college graduate, I am proud to have earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Howard University and my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College.

Outside of managing the practice and providing therapy, I enjoy dancing, color guarding, traveling, listening to music, and trying different restaurants and activities, all of which fuel my creativity and passion for life.
